PlaceMakers returns as the Platinum Sponsor for Invercargill Home & Garden Tour.

The Ray White Invercargill Home & Garden Tour Committee is excited to announce that PlaceMakers has once again jumped on board as the Platinum sponsor for the Ray White Home & Garden Invercargill Tour 2024.

PlaceMakers is a well-known business in the local community across Invercargill, Gore, Te Anau, and Winton. They have decided to once again give back to a great local charity and support Southland families at the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Invercargill.

The previous 2020 Ray White Home & Garden Invercargill tour saw approx $100,000 raised for the Southland Family room.

The Ray White Home and Garden Invercargill Tour in support of the Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital will run from 10:00am till 4:00pm on February 24th, 2024. Guests will travel to some or all of these homes and explore what the grounds, gardens, and interiors have to offer. The homes range in value, size, age and architecture. Because the tour is self-drive it means ticket holders can travel at their leisure, visiting all or just one of the homes and stop for a coffee or lunch at their favourite café along the way! The travel route and parking designations will be marked on the tour map. Teams of volunteers will be on hand at each property throughout the day to guide ticket holders through the homes and for the owner’s peace of mind. Strictly no cameras, shoes, food or children (under 16 years) are allowed on the tour. 

Tickets go on November 10th 2023.

About Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital. For a child in hospital, there could be nothing scarier than not having family nearby to offer support, love and cuddles. Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital was established to help families stay together during what could be one of the most difficult times of their lives. The facility offers, at no charge, shared kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities to any family with a child being treated at Southland Hospital. Four en-suite bedrooms are also available to these families on a ‘greatest need’ basis.
