Tickets on sale for Invercargill’s premiere home tour.
21 November 2019
Tickets go on sale this Friday for the much anticipated Ray White Home and Garden Invercargill Tour in support of the Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital. Locals will get to take a peek inside approximately 10 of Invercargill’s most prestigious private homes which will be on show for one day only in February.
Set down for Saturday 29th February 2020, ticket holders will be able to view an eclectic mix of homes. An amazing million-dollar mansion, a timeless historic character home to a funky townhouse, to name just a few.
Event coordinator Jackie McKenna from Ray White says tickets have not even gone on sale yet and already we have had over 150 people pre-registered and saying they want to buy tickets.
“This time we are selling tickets electronically through eventfinda. The Invercargill I-site is an agency for eventfinda and tickets can also be purchased from here. Those wishing to go just need to go to our website www.homeandgardentour.co.nz
Ms McKenna said we have really tried to keep ticket prices down.
“We have some amazing sponsors including our Platinum sponsor Placemakers Invercargill and with their help we have been able to cover the costs of putting on the event. Therefore all money raised from ticket sales will go back to the reason we are doing this. Helping out a really worthwhile community cause – The much needed Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital in Invercargill.”
“All profits raised from the day go back to the family room for its day to day running.”
“It means kids getting care at the Southland Hospital get to have their families around them when they need them the most. This event is all about raising funds to help run the Family Room and the more tickets we sell, the more we can help out!”
The Ray White Home and Garden Invercargill Tour in support of the Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital will run from 10am till 4pm on February 29th 2020. Guests will travel to some or all of these homes and explore what grounds, gardens and interior have to offer. The homes range in value, size, age and architecture. Because the tour is self-drive it means ticket holders can travel at their leisure, visiting all or just one of the homes and stop for a coffee or lunch at their favourite café along the way! The travel route and parking designations will be marked on the tour map. Teams of volunteers will be on hand at each property throughout the day to guide ticket holders through the homes and for the owner‟s peace of mind. Strictly no cameras, shoes, food or children (under 16 years) are allowed on the tour.
Tickets are $65 and are available from www.homeandgardentour.co.nz
Pictures and background information about the event and the homes are on our website www.homeandgardentour.co.nz or see us on facebook page hometourinvercargill.
